6. Layer Data
In this section, the patient's layer data—by wich the intervention planning shall be carried out—are presented.

The layer image data are situated on the left side (1).

The scroll bar right beneath the image data enables you to browse through the slice data (2). You can also insert a slice number in the field over the controller to jump to this slice.

For interaction with the original data you have got the following options which are presented (3) in the following area:
- Scrolling through the slices: with the mouse wheel, fast slicing (through a pressed middle mouse button) and vertical movement of the mouse
- Windowing: changing of width through a pushed right mouse button and simultaneously horizontal movement of the mouse, changing of the center through a pushed right mouse button and vertical movement

In most of the cases, two CT images exist for each patient. One image displays the venous blood vessels ("venous__ROI") and the other one makes the arterial blood vessels visible ("arterial__ROI"). Within the list you may switch (4) between the datasets. This switch may take some time.

At the upper right side you can find the description of the layer image data (5).

Below, there is a list containig information about relevant layer data (6). These information have been placed by an expert and include a thumbnail of each layer as well as a textual description of the important structures which shall be considered. If you select a list entry, each layer of interest is shown in the dataset.

In the area below, the diagnosis of the expert is presented (7).
